My first thought was, what on earth is an olla? It sure looks like a pot to me.
Olla is spanish for beans, and this pot originated in Spain for slow cooking dried beans. Hence being called a "bean pot", or an olla. But I'm sure it's used to cook many other Spanish dishes.
It's interesting to see how cast iron is used all over the world!
So if you have a cast iron pot, you don't need to buy an olla, because you already have one!
