The potjie percolator

This is a potjie percolator. No, it's not for brewing coffee in a potjie.

It's meant for percolating the liquid in your potjie, which is a South African camp oven.

By rotating the liquid from bottom to top, it can prevent your food from burning.

Since a potjie has a rounded bottom, I'm not sure how well this would work in an American camp oven, which has a flat bottom.
