Leftovers, good as new

While having lunch at a seafood restaurant, someone claimed that she would take her leftovers home, reheat them on a pampered chef stone, and they'd be good as new.

I believe that is true, but it's also true for cast iron.

Fried seafood, pizza, french fries, and other bread products do not reheat well in the microwave. But on cast iron, they're good as new!

This post is similar to an earlier post titled "reheating leftovers in the oven." It's not a repeat, just an expansion of the original point.

I've found that, if you reheat fries on a pan recently seasoned with crisco, the crisco gives it a unique, good flavor.
