I previously posted about "noble pot roast," a recipe using aged beef; I'd like to try aged beef with these recipes as well:
In a cast iron pot, melt some butter. Brown the roast on all sides. Turn off heat. Cut some slits in the roast and spoon in minced garlic. Dissolve "better than bouillon" beef base in a little bit of water and brush it on the roast. Add onion powder, garlic powder and onion flakes. Add some beef broth and cover. Slow cook in the oven at 300.
OR
In a cast iron pot, melt some butter. Brown the roast on all sides. Turn off heat. Mix chili sauce, worcestershire sauce and coca cola. Pour over the roast and cover. Slow cook in the oven at 300.
