Smothered pork chops

Here is what I made tonight, smothered pork chops:

Heat up olive oil in a cast iron skillet. Season pork chops with onion powder, garlic powder.* Drop in the pork chops, add some black pepper, and cook, turning at regular intervals. When they are browned, add fresh mushrooms. Friends don't let friends use canned mushrooms!

*Onion powder and garlic powder are what I call "the dynamic duo." This should go in almost everything you cook (of course not desserts).

When the mushrooms are cooked, mix one can cream of chicken soup* with milk and throw in, bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer. Add worcestershire sauce and dried onion flakes.

*Some people prefer cream of mushroom soup, that would also work, but I prefer cream of chicken. You could use canned or homemade.

Then add some canned fried onions and pop in the oven at 300 to finish. This can be just as easily done with chicken breasts.
