It's advertised as a 6 quart pot, but I measured less than 5 quarts, and sent it right back.
Lodge does not make a 6 quart pot, in regular cast iron, suitable for indoor use.
They make a 6 quart enameled pot, and a 6 quart camp oven. So why not a regular pot?
Wagner and Griswold don't label their pots by volume, but by model number. So I'm at the mercy of ebay sellers, who are very unreliable and frequently state the wrong volume*.
*The Griswold #9 dutch oven is 6 quarts.
Truthfully, there's nothing you can cook in a 6 quart pot, that you can't cook in a 7 quart pot.
And I definitely don't need another pot.
But, that doesn't stop me from trying.
