seriously, tuna helper?

Hi folks! No, I didn't drop off the face of the earth.

I suddenly had to move, yet again-- from Amarillo to Midland!

For a month and a half I lived in a motel room, with all my stuff in storage. During this time, I cooked with a portable grill and toaster oven.

In hindsight, Lodge tableware would have been quite handy to use with those, since it's small.

But I don't have any of the tableware, and being on the move, I had to "pack light" so I used disposable aluminum. Boy did I miss my cast iron!

I'm finally in my new house, with all my beloved cast iron finally unpacked. 100 pieces do take a long time to unpack!

Anyway, back to the subject. I haven't cooked tuna helper since I started using cast iron, and never thought to cook it in cast iron before.

But I craved some, so I tried it in the cast iron skillet. So, yes, you can cook tuna helper or even hamburger helper in cast iron!

Not that you'd necessarily want to, if you're an avid cook, but anyway.
