Lodge california acorn stick pan

This was the Lodge California acorn stick pan.

This pan was made in the 1930's and is currently listed on ebay for "only" $400.

It was meant to make cornbread shaped like acorns. Or so they claimed.

I don't think they look like acorns at all, and neither do very many people.

They look like... um, microphones. Yes, that's exactly what I think they look like. Microphones.

Legend has it that Lodge discontinued this pan because one of the wives objected to the design.

I guess she didn't like microphones.

You WERE thinking microphones, weren't you?

  2. Could have bought one for 6 dollars at the flea market. Friend ox mine bought it and told me what it was
