A most unusual sandwich-- before you say "no way"

I guarantee most of you will say "no way" to trying this sandwich. I sure did, at first.

This sandwich recipe is in the cookbook "Cast Iron Cuisine: From Breakfast to Dessert."

It was created at a hunting camp in the wilderness, using the staples they had on hand.

Although it sounded terrible, everyone who tried it, ended up liking it. So I decided to try it too.

Cook bacon on a cast iron griddle.

On toasted rye bread, add peanut butter, dill pickles and bacon to make a sandwich.

I thought I would hate it, but it really was pretty good. Try it, if you dare.

If the pickles creep you out too much, at least try the peanut butter with bacon.
