Lodge pineapple cake pan

This is the Lodge pineapple cake pan. It's discontinued and very hard to find.

It's meant for making... cake! Shaped like... pineapples!

Depending on its actual size, though, which is hard to tell from the photo, I'm sure if you use your imagination, you can find other uses for it.

But, it's mostly for making pineapple shaped cakes. I'd recommend the duncan hines pineapple cake mix, but you can use any cake mix you want.

If you don't have this pan, not to worry-- any cake is just as delicious baked in a skillet.

  1. I have one of these pans and have never seen another. I'm trying to locate it's approximate worth. Can you help? We've never used it. We just picked it up in a shop one for about $30 because we had never seen one before.

  2. They're rare, occasionally sold on ebay for between 50 (at the very lowest) and a hundred or more. The Wagner and Griswold Society forum would be better able to give you an exact value but $30 sounds like a good price to me, for that pan. It's no longer made.

It's a fun novelty pan... for making cake shaped like a pineapple. I'm not sure what else you could do with it, but it's fun.
